Beginning Encaustic Class

Come experience the freedom of painting with encaustic wax. Students will learn about studio and propane torch safety and are introduced to the history of encaustic painting. Demonstrations and instructions will help students make decisions about brush strokes, fusing techniques and texture building. There is plenty of time for students to create their artwork. No experience necessary.
