Changing the Narrative: A special exhibition of encaustic and cold wax at the Pacific Art League in Palo Alto, CA in collaboration with International Encaustic Artists
Opening Reception: Saturday, March 9th from 4 - 6:30 pm
Art provides a way to tell stories visually. Through mythology, fairy tales, cultural commentary, dream imagery, family history, and personal narrative, art has sought to examine the challenges and mysteries of how we live; to interpret and understand our world, and share those thoughts with others. Art can expand a viewer’s perception or even create a change in their perspective. This exhibition will showcase the evolving ways in which artists are incorporating narrative ideas into their work, from abstract to representational.
