Join Melissa Stephens at he studio in Walnut Creek for this 4-hour class, where you will re-envision everyday objects and learn how to make incredible mar ks with them. Express yourself using lines and color. Paint and fuse your encaustic layers while adding dramatically carved lines and gouges. Accentuate your marks using other materials including: encaustic paint, oil paint, pastel or graphite. Melissa delivers demonstrations with hands-on instruction, plus you will have plenty of time to play and experiment. Every student has the opportunity to create up to 3 new paintings. No previous art experience necessary. Must be 18+ years of age.
